MSK @ MNF

On Monday, November 4th, the MSK performed halftime at the Giants Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium!

The performance, which was part of our 150th anniversary of college football celebration, highlighted Rutgers football history from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Music included music from Wild Cherry, Prince, Guns n' Roses, Backstreet Boys, and 98 Degrees.

The MSK Celebrate 150
Years of College Football

This season, we celebrate the 150th anniversary of college football, which began of course with the first game between Rutgers and Princeton. This season, the band will play halftime shows celebrating RU football history, featuring music from many eras. This season will be a year to remember for the Marching Scarlet Knights!

Meet Your 2020 MSK Student Leaders

After over 40 interviews with dedicated members of the Marching Scarlet Knights,  tough decisions were made about who should lead the band for our 105th season.

The results are in, and the 2020 MSK student leadership team is posted here. Pictured are our 2020 Drum Majors: Elizabeth Monkemeier (left), Kyle Gelatka (center), and Jess Morley (right). Congratulations to all of our new student leaders!
