New Assistant Director
The Rutgers University Bands are thrilled to announce that Dr. Julia Baumanis has been named as our new Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Pep Bands. In addition, Dr. Baumanis will conduct concert ensembles and teach various courses in the music department of the Mason Gross School of the Arts.
Dr. Baumanis recently served as the Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Athletic Bands at the University of Central Missouri and before that served as Associate Director of Bands and Orchestras at JP Taravella High School in Broward County Florida. She is a distinguished graduate of The Florida State University College of Music, most recently completed her Phd in Music Education and Instrumental Conducting. In addition, Dr. Baumanis is a nationally recognized researcher and sought after clinician and performer.
We are incredibly excited to have her join the Rutgers band family and can't wait to get started working together!

Fall Audition Information
Instrumental auditions for Fall 2021 will be held during the first week of the semester. Audition information can be found here for music majors and here for non-majors. Students may direct all questions regarding wind auditions to Todd Nichols, Director of Bands via email@example.com.
