As a member of the MSK, you are required to attend all meetings, rehearsals, and performances, including the mandatory meeting at the start of band camp, all days of band camp, all rehearsals during the semester, all performances, including the regular season games, any postseason Bowl Game, and the Spring Game.

To record attendance, every member, except the Front Ensemble, will be required to check in by Universal Drill Book. It is your responsibility to make sure that your phone has ‘location services’ turned on while using the UDB app and to check in to each rehearsal and performance day. You will have access to your attendance record so reach out to Mona Garbely (mgarbely@mgsa.rutgers.edu) within one week of the date in question, if you believe there was an error in recording. Excessive ‘forgetting’ to check in, or failure to correct your record within a weekmay impact your grade. The MSK Absence Form MUST be submitted for each absence, tardy, and early dismissal, regardless of whether they are expected to be excused or not. Please note that reporting your absence via the Rutgers Self-Reporting Absence Website is not necessary nor a substitute for our form. Also, there is a separate form for class conflicts. For last minute absences, please submit the MSK Absence Form as soon as possible.
